I painted this for July 4th (I am from the US). It is titled Wings of Liberty and it is painted with acrylic on canvas and is only 23 inches. I started painting in February of this year as a creative outlet from my day job (a scientist). Had no clue I had an artist deep down, but I surprise myself with each painting. I like the image of the eagle soaring as a symbol of freedom --- even freedom from yourself and your own preconceived notions. I am excited to see what other secret talents I a

The whole theme was set off of, "If an axolotl were hungry, he'd snack on shrimp!" In this universe, axolotls can live in the open seas, and there's an axolotl sea-dragon girl who lives in those seas, and protects the axolotls. This specific axolotl, who has a little sea-slug companion (he likes the extra weight), notices a shrimp, and starts drooling because that's his favorite snack in proper fashion, he starts chasing after it. The axolotl sea-dragon chases after she can't lose her lotl to

My art "Authenticity"This piece represents my journey of transformation ? a journey of becoming the truest and most authentic version of myself. It is about releasing limiting beliefs, breaking free from old patterns, and leaving behind the masks I once wore to fit expectations and seek acceptance. The act of removing the mask symbolizes letting go of the false identities that no longer serve me and embracing who I truly am.At its heart, this artwork carries a powerful message: be aut

This is Marley, one of my loopy border collies. I managed to take the reference photo for this drawing in one of his quiet moments, while he was hugging his favourite toy and stopping his brother Bob from stealing it! It was a challenge drawing him on pastelmat as I'm not too experienced with it but quiete happy with how he came out! He's drawn in a mix of faber castel polychromos, caran d'ache luminance and some derwent drawing pencils.

I loved this photograph from John Strachan photography and finally got around to painting it in acrylic. I tried to be quite loose with the painting as there was so much detail. in the end I thought the sky looked a bit bare so with the help of Chat GPT I added seagulls to the photo and was then able to paint them into my art work. This painting will be heading for the Aberdeen art show the end of August for sale.
